The theme of fire touches us as a destructive and regenerative force. Sometimes it all burns down, but there we are anew, getting a chance to restart something. Also there are times that we must fix ourselves to the light and warmth we recognise in ouselves and our lives, in moments that we feel all else is dark.

I was honored to partake in the original creation of this piece for a group art show in Brasil, using ashes from detrimental environmental fires, and Air-Ink, collected pollution that is transformed into carbon pigment.

This offering is of a high quality photographic print that is framed and matted.

The frame is Silver, with black matting.
